Leipzig, Germany
I just returned back to the US from a year aboard. I was living in Leipzig, Germany with my wife. What an exciting experience. My first time in Europe and it was for a whole year. I was able to travel to France, Spain, Great Britain, Scotland, Czech Republic and Greece. I will have to say that Greece was my favorite. The weather, the sea, and the food were so wonderful.
While I was in Germany I spent a lot of time reading. In the past I didn't have a lot of time to read, because I was commuting 130 miles a day round trip to my job and spending up to 3 hours each day on the road. Not something I enjoyed or plan to go back to. I look forward to implementing the cultural lifestyle that I learned in Germany to my life now that I am back. More public transportation, living closer to my work and more recycling.
